American Funds / Capital Group

American Funds are a part of the Capital Group which is one of America’s oldest mutual fund families. It’s also the third largest family of funds in the U.S. with just under $1 trillion in managed assets and 40 million customer accounts. The volume of literature required for reporting to its accountholders is akin to that of a publishing house. Amara Grimes has

been providing design services for annual reports, semi-annual reports and other materials to the Capital Group for over 25 years. Due to Capital’s high standards and the SEC’s rigorous filing requirements, the work requires not only creative excellence but a high degree of precision, accuracy and a strict adherence to timetables.

Capital Charitable Giving

Capital Charitable Giving (CCG) is the philanthropic foundation for associates of the The Capital Group Companies — the group who oversee the American Funds, one of the largest mutual fund families in the U.S. CCG is the primary mechanism through which Capital’s associates are able to support community foundations and organizations involved with the arts and culture, education, the environment, health, youth development, human services, and international relief. Capital hired us

to design a new website for CCG to serve as an online hub for the foundation. The idea was to create a compelling and engaging central location for the company’s associates to interact with the foundation — to become informed on how to contribute and ways participate in the wide array of charitable opportunities they offer. It was also a place for the foundation to communicate the achievements and accomplishments of the foundation with easy to follow graphics and charts.
